Grateful!

After a very full week previous, all of a sudden it’s the last couple days of the year.  The holidays are in full swing, and I can truly say that it has been an amazing year for so many reasons.

I stepped into the studio this week with the main goal of wrapping up a few canvases that needed finish work done on them. Not my favorite thing to do, but at least it will allow me to start with a very clean slate come January 1.

Both of these canvases are 16″ x 16″, and with them finished, that puts me at 103 canvases since March.  I wish I could sit here and say that I have 103 sales under my belt as well, but I am pleased beyond words for all that has happened this year.

I also started in on one of the 24″ x 24″s today.  I feel like I am on the verge of a new direction, which makes me very happy.  My plan is to just keep doing what I have been and let things fall into place as they present themselves to me.  There is no need to rush the natural process.

There are no major plans for this week or the coming week, and I think Miss G and I will try to relax and put things into perspective.  I will be back next Thursday with the final post of the year.

Until then, I want to extend my peace and gratitude to each and every one of you.  Your presence here means a lot, and I am very grateful to have this opportunity to share my little corner of the world with you.

Take care, and Happy Holidays!
