Once A Punk, Always A Punk

Circa 1988, with hair down to my ass. This was the time that bands like Minor Threat, DRI, SOD, Suicidal Tendencies, Black Market Baby, Government Issue, The Plasmatics and The Cro-Mags were in full force. I spent a lot of time at the 9:30 Club and The Wust, which were both in Washington DC. It was a good time to slip into my 20s, and I learned much from that period.
Can you figure out which one is me?

This Makes Me Happy

A trip to the art supply store today to get a few things. I was disappointed to learn that Pearl Art in Cambridge, MA has closed its doors. The good thing is that Artist & Craftsman Supply is located right across the street, and they have a decent selection. There is also a nice Utrecht down the road as well.

Torn Together Again

It has been some time since I have posted, and I apologize to all of you. I will strive to be more regular with it. Most of my time has been spent looking for a job and trying to keep my wits about me. After a little break, I have started painting again. As always, there is usually a period of stagnation followed by progress.

Thanks to all of you who take the time to visit me here. I enjoy reading all of your posts on a daily basis. I would love to hear from you!
