Embrace the Past but Make Love to the Future

There has been a strange energy in the air lately.  Last year at this time, I was hanging out with Caio Fern, getting ready for my first solo show and trying to beat the heat.

A lot has changed over the past year and a lot of progress has been made.  I wish I could close my eyes and see a brief glimpse of what things will look like in a year from now.  I am excited as to what the future has in store for me.

I am a big fan of transition, and over the past couple of days Miss G has been moving out of her studio space and combining her materials with mine.  The studio is a big mess right now, so the next order of business is to get the space back in order.  This change will allow me to consolidate and maybe come up with a better way of working, so in the end, the transition will help shake things up in a good way.

Today, I put a new order in for the next run of tee shirts.  The next one will be white with a totally new design.
I will be doing each batch of shirts in very limited runs, and I will never repeat them.  I only did 24 of the black one above, and if you haven't gotten yours yet, I still have a few left.

The new design will be ready in time for Artbeat, which is on July 16, and I will be sure to showcase them here first.

I would like to extend a great big Thank You to all of my new friends from the past week.  This blog is updated every Thursday, but if you are interested as to what I'm doing during the rest of the week, I always post Studio Shots on my Facebook Fan Page.  I would love to see you there!

Until next Thursday, have a great weekend everyone!
