Cape Cod / Mini Mandalas / Artbeat / Wall Spin

Miss G and I returned from a short trip to Provincetown, which is at the very end of Cape Cod yesterday.  It was my first trip to the Cape and the first time I’ve been in the ocean for a very long time.  It was nice to escape the city for a few days, but now we are back in the thick of it with many things happening between now and the end of the month.

Today in the studio, I spent most of the day working on building up my inventory of Mini Mandalas in preparation for next weekend’s market at Artbeat.  I don’t have windows in the studio, and summers at Vernon Street can get pretty sticky.  Nonetheless, I think it makes for a good work environment heat and all.

It’s hard to believe, but Artbeat is next Saturday the 16th.  I will be set up outside with the tent, and Gabriella will be inside the Burren at the SLAM.  So, we will be doing double duty for the day.  According to the weather forecast, the heat is going to break, and we are hoping for a weekend that won’t be blistering hot.

If you live local, please stop by and see us on Saturday the 16th from 11 to 6.  We would love to see you!

Finally, my newest guest post is up on the Wall Spin art blog.  In this most recent post, I talk about the Peabody Essex Museum, which is one of the local gems that I visited last month.  Please take a look and leave a comment over on the Wall Spin blog to let me know what you think.

Until next Thursday, I would like to wish each and every one of you a fabulous weekend.  Thank you for taking the time to stop by and give me your support, I appreciate it!
