Another Fine Week

I was very happy that it decided to rain today.  For me, that meant that there was no outside work, and I was able to spend the whole day in the studio.

I’ve been working on a series of 18″ x 24″ wood panels, and today I finished up most of the third one.  There is some touch up work and varnishing to do, but at least I was able to get it up on the wall so I could get a sense on how the three look together.  I’m pleased so far.

I have a fourth panel to get started on, then I will make the determination as to whether or not I will go beyond that number.  As it stands, I am thinking a nice series of 10 would be a good goal to shoot for.

The last photo above shows the three hanging next to a pair of my 24″ x 24″ canvases just to give you a sense of their size.

In case you missed it, my newest post on the Wall Spin art blog is all about Gouache.  I’m curious if any of you are familiar with or use Gouache.  I would love to hear your thoughts!

Miss G and I are heading to Vermont this weekend.  New England is known for its fall foliage this time of the year, and Vermont is famous for the beautiful display that the native timbers put on every year.  I will share photos with you in next Thursday’s post.

Until then, I hope all is well with each and every one of you.  Thank you for taking the time to stop by.  I do appreciate it!

Have a great weekend!
