Happy September 1st everyone! There are only 4 short months left until the end of the year and I've got a lot of work to squeeze in before then. So far, so good!
Time was spent in the studio this week working on a new 18" x 24" wood panel. As I have said before, I really like working on wood. I also like this size too.
I am satisfied with the progress so far and hope to have it wrapped up before next Thursday's post.
This week over at the Wall Spin Blog, I expanded on two new topics: Murals and Summer Art Reading.
I have always been in awe of the mastery of mural making, and there are a lot of good art books out there on the shelves, so please check these posts out.
Until next Thursday's post, you can always catch my daily updates on my Facebook Page or on Twitter. I often post photos that don't make it to this blog. Please take a peek if you can.
Have a great weekend, everyone, and thank you for stopping by!

Hey Brian,
ReplyDeleteThis size panel seems perfectly fitted to your work---just the right size shape, gently holds the design but lets it really shine too!

Manon,
ReplyDeleteWe have missed you too! You have been busy taking care of yourself and testing new ground, and that is the most important thing.
We are still hoping that we can get together at some point. The North still calls us, but we aren't quite sure about the specific destination yet. We will keep you posted.
Take care,
Brian
Lozzano,
ReplyDeleteHow are you, my friend? It's good to see you here!
You are right, I have had many people make the comment that my designs would transfer well to stained glass. Maybe this will be a future project.
Enjoy your weekend,
Brian
