I Love Vermont!

Miss G and I had a great trip up to Vermont last weekend.  We went up for two reasons: to look for a new place to live, and to help support the local economy.  It was foggy and rainy, and the fall foliage hadn't quite turned yet, but it was good to visit.

Vermont was one of the states hardest hit during Hurricane Irene this past August.  Many of the roads and bridges were washed out, and things are just now starting to get back to normal, yet it will take some time before all the necessary repairs are made.

Gabriella and I are drawn to Vermont because of its beautiful and serene landscape.  The Green Mountains are magnificent and the slower pace of living along with a vibrant and strong arts community are just what we are looking for.

The state has some of the most intense winters in the Northeast, and has top-notch skiing and snowboarding. While it's not quite snow season yet this year, it's one of the things that I am really looking forward to.  I will have updates for you in the near future.

My newest post on the Wall Spin art blog is entitled From One Art to Another, and I talk about musicians who also paint professionally.  If you like David Bowie, Ron Wood, Grace Slick or Tony Bennett, then give it a read.  I think you will like it.

My studio time this week was very minimal due to other outside work, and I really don't feel right when I can't get in there.  I'm hoping that next week will give me the opportunity to spend some time there.

Until next Thursday, I wish all of you a fabulous weekend.  As always, thank you for stopping by and giving me your support!
