A New Beginning

Vernon Street Open Studios is next weekend, and I have been working hard to finish up a final piece before the event.  This will be my last appearance in Vernon Street, so it's going to be bittersweet.

One of the best things that has ever happened to me was landing a studio spot in Vernon Street.  Over the past two years, I have had the opportunity to meet many kind and genuine people, and while I look forward to my new home in Vermont, part of me is really going to miss my space at Vernont Street.

If you live local, please stop by on November 5 and 6 from 12-6pm.  This will be the last time to purchase my work directly while I am in the area.  There will be festivities afterward on both nights, so please stick around, I would love to talk with you.

Miss G and I made another trip to Vermont yesterday to take care of some business and bring some belongings up.  In 5 weeks, we will be completely moved and settling in.  The above photo is a very early sneak peek of my new studio space.  I am excited to have windows for once.  The best thing is that I can see the mountains across the way.  Let's see how this will effect the work in the future.  I will have many more updates in the near future.

Until next Thursday's update, I want to wish each and every one of you a great weekend.  Thank you for taking the time to stopping by here.  Pass the word along!

  8. Hi Brian,
Just wanted to add my good wishes on the upcoming move. My wife and I have spent our 25-years together always on the move. The excitement of the new and farewells to the comfortable keep life interesting for us.
I believe you and Miss G will thrive in Vermont and I'm looking forward with great anticipation to your future posts. Have a safe move and wrap yourselves in all the positive energy your family, friends and followers have sent you.
    Sincerely,
    Gary.

  9. B-ah!! natural light and views of mountains - it is only upwards from here. And as you say if all goes according to plan we could be catching up in about three months time - just time for you and G to settle in and make vermont your new creative home. Go well. B
